Who we are
EFS Global is a family-owned, customer-focused Transport and Logistics group of companies. With offices and depots throughout the UK, we offer national and international services, including pallet network deliveries, temperature-controlled deliveries, groupage, European road haulage, air freight, sea freight, customs clearances, pick and pack operations and warehousing. We operate 30 depots and offices within the UK and retain key partnerships around the globe.
Growth in Acquisitions and Investments
EFS has developed and grown over the years both organically and through the acquisition of carefully selected companies that share our values. You will find that our teams are determined to provide the best possible service. Our fleet of over 550 HGVs and vans is at your disposal, along with over 300,000 square feet of warehousing facilities.
EFS Global’s continuing strategy is to acquire medium-sized, successful businesses from within the transport and logistics sectors. Once a new company joins the Group, we recognise the importance of investment and shared best practices as we welcome new colleagues to the EFS family. EFS’ scale enables support in areas such as training, systems development and financial control along with strong purchasing power.

Improvements for the Environment and our Customers
Our current environmental improvements include:
- Investment in the latest and most efficient vehicles
- A move to electric forklifts, and therefore reduced reliance on gas and diesel forklifts
- Investment in electric cars and vans to reduce emissions
- The installation of solar panels to ensure greater energy efficiency
During 2021 we implemented an initiative to further enhance EFS’ performance. We are rolling out a new Transport Management System that provides an improved booking platform, improved planning tools and a live warehouse management system. The rollout further enables a new application for drivers allowing the seamless capture of e-signatures and PODs. These enhancements will generate a superior customer experience with live tracking from booking through to the provision of a POD.
